    Design and implementation of supercapacitor based Regenerative breaking and BLDC speed control for BLDC motor based electric vehicles is presented. This system saves energy due to inertia from the motor back to battery when breaking, motor will act as a generator in this time. This is based on electromagnetic induction on BLDC motor coils due to its rotation in permanent magnet filed. Breaking energy is temporarily stored into supercapacitor and transfer back to battery using boost converter. System is implemented using TMS320C28027 Piccolo microcontroller, 50W BLDC motor MOSFET based three phase bridge etc.

    Purchased this Lepai LP-838 amp on eBay. Features volume, treble, & bass control for LR speakers; bass volume for subwoofer output and power switch. It’s hooked to an Aspire Revo PC running XBMC driving two way KLH speakers (the kind that bestbuy gives away with a home tuner purchase- super cheap) and subwoofer that was pulled from a big screen projection tv. No way is this thing 200w, but plenty of power to drive these speakers. Ran it for over 3 hours at ~70% volume on the amp and on the pc and it barely got warmer than room temp in a cabinet with the doors closed. It does require a 12v 2amp minimum power supply. I had a 5amp leftover from something which I just soldered on the proper connector to drive the amp.
